Freesource Energy is a supplier of microgeneration products who aim to go that extra mile by helping customers understand and apply renewable energy to their needs.

The company ethos has a firm ethical foundation in terms of workmanship, customer management, choice of suppliers and products, and general corporate responsibilities. Freesource works across England and Wales, and is proud to say that 100% of their work is from referrals and recommendations.

Primarily Freesource is a supply and installation company but it prides itself on its consultative approach, enabling customers to find out the truth about renewable technology and its potential. At each stage of the project they are happy to answer any questions and, because Freesource is not a consultancy, it only charges fees for complex projects and certain feasibility studies, which are refundable upon completion of the final install.

At any one time Freesource has over 300 active projects at various stages of progress and across a wide variety of customer types and situations. These include homeowners (both retrofitting and building new homes), self builders, developers, local authorities, schools, care homes, factories, industrial plants, office blocks ...you name it.

Freesource is accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for wind turbines and solar thermal and can access other funding streams for heat pumps. Freesource is also a Renewable Energy Assurance Scheme member, abiding by a strict code of conduct both technically and in business and customer
